Today I’m excited to share with you my newest natural skincare from Weleda. I first tried out their skincare when I was given samples from Health2000, and absolutely loved the natural ingredients, scent & texture. After browsing their range, I simply couldn’t decide between Wild Rose and Pomegranate, so I thought, why not try both?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been using the Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Day Cream paired with Weleda Pomegranate Firming Night Cream. I was delighted to discover that both of them contain holistic, natural ingredients, especially given how beautiful they smell – ingredients such as plant oils & extracts free from mineral oil derivatives and free of synthetic preservatives, fragrances, and colourants. My favourite scent is the Damascene Rose fragrance in Wild Rose, which truly smells like a bouquet of fresh roses.

Created to preserve the skin’s youthful vitality, Wild Rose Smoothing Day Cream focuses on retaining moisture and reducing first lines, using pure and natural ingredients like organically grown Rosa Mosqueta seeds. This cream is a dream to apply and feels like a lotion – it’s incredibly light and smooth, absorbing easily into the skin. It works in harmony not only with your skin, but with makeup too, making for a great moisturising & protective base!

At night, I’ve been using the Pomegranate Firming Night Cream. This cream contains organic pomegranate and golden millet, working to reduce wrinkles, tauten skin and reactivate its regeneration. This cream’s texture is definitely my favourite – it’s still light and smooth, yet also very rich and nourishing. This is because it contains enriching shea butter, and rich oils such as sesame and argan oil. It feels absolutely luxurious.

My verdict after testing these two creams: I love the Pomegranate Firming Night Cream and would definitely re-purchase, pairing it with the day cream. As much as I love Wild Rose’s fragrance, my skin is a tad too dry for it, making Pomegranate my favourite. Personally, I could see it being perfect for those with normal to slightly dry skin, but not very dry skin (for which Weleda’s Skin Food is amazing). SPF30+ would make it even better!

I’m looking forward to trying more of Weleda’s natural skincare – beautiful serums, creams & cleansers, and even a new vegan tinted lip balm just to name a few!
